Government Communication Office
The Government Communication Office shall perform the functions below :
1- Propose and develop general strategic plan of government communication on federal government level .
2- Provide support and advice to the federal ministries, authorities and institutions when preparing and reviewing communication plans .
3- Propose and develop standard regulations and criteria for the federal government identity and government official logo and follow up their implementation .
4- Strive to standardize government correspondence addressed to the public and develop information messages regarding the key national and social matters that are issued by the federal government authorities .
5- Propose and develop standard regulations and criteria for the internal communication on the level of federal ministries, institutions and authorities .
6- Propose the necessary techniques and systems for exchange of information and expertise amongst federal ministries, institutions and authorities .
7- Propose, develop and coordinate the necessary programs for building abilities and skills in the area of government communication .
8- Propose, develop and coordinate the programs on announcement of government projects and initiatives .
9- Any other functions assigned by the secretary general of cabinet .
